Co-Founder of Luna Wolf Studios
As a software engineer with a focus on game development, I have experience working across a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, education, defense, e-commerce, and fitness. I’ve developed countless games and interactive applications for a variety of platforms, including web, PC, and console, as well as mobile and virtual reality devices.
I’ve worked as both a lead developer and a co-founder of several game development companies of all sizes. I’ve led teams of developers to create interactive 3D simulations and visualizations, mentored junior developers, and established best practices for coding, source control, and general workflows.
My work in the healthcare industry has been particularly rewarding, as I’ve had the opportunity to develop research-based and FDA approved games for therapeutic treatments for children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy and adult stroke patients, as well as vision therapy games for kids with amblyopia and convergence insufficiency. I have also worked with a local children’s hospital to develop a gamified VR hearing assessment, under Luna Wolf Studios.
Also, under Luna Wolf Studios I have worked on several successful Kickstarter campaigns, including a 3D online multiplayer RTS and a 2D platformer, which were published on popular gaming platforms such as Steam and Nintendo Switch. In addition, I’ve developed games for high-profile clients such as Cartoon Network, Looney Labs, Computer Lunch, and Peloton, as well as educational games for Legends of Learning.
As an adjunct instructor, I’ve had the privilege of lecturing students on game development concepts and theories and teaching them C# programming within the Unity Game Engine. I’ve also worked as a Unity technical writer, developing sample projects, videos, and step-by-step tutorials.
My experience extends beyond game development having worked on large scale backend systems developing microservices in agile environments. I’ve also worked with numerous cloud based technologies and RESTful APIs to develop containerized applications that utilized big data. Additionally, I’ve developed CI/CD pipelines, automated testing suites, and architected large scale platforms with diverse tech stacks.
Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed developing innovative and immersive games that push the boundaries of technology and engage players in new and exciting ways. My passion for game development and my experience working across a diverse range of industries, technologies, and platforms makes me a versatile and valuable member of any development team.
